A directly traded coffee from the highlands of Honduras. This coffee is grown at high altitudes which makes for a dense, hard bean structure. This fact allows us to roast this coffee to a darker level than most. We leave these beans in the roaster until second crack begins, but not long enough for the oils to emerge. Keeping the oils locked in the beans is important to freshness and brewed cup quality. This one is truly a treat for all the dark roast lovers out there.
